Ethiopian Queens

While in ET I just purchased all I could get my hands on, just so that I could lift the spirits of the girls when they became home sick. This past weekend we pulled out a bag filled with Ethiopian beads and traditional ET dresses, and played dress up. The girls just loved, loved being adorned in their ET attire, we danced(well they danced while I video taped) to ET music and they did the infamous ET shoulder dance. I gotta tell ya, down loading videos can be a pain and take forever, but I will be sure to down load it this week!!!!!!

I have stacks and stacks of things to give them, from table clothes, pillow cases, pocketbooks, change purses, head wraps, more bedding, and the list goes on and on...................so happy I thought ahead and took the advice of past travelers and made it my business to bring back w/us a little piece of ET.

I can't explain what it does for them to know that they are wearing something from their country!

I can't explain what it does for them to know that they are wearing something from their country! Or drinking from the cups that were made in ET as we drink our Bunna/hot chocolate from the, I can't tell you how the bedding on the beds that was hand made in ET, makes them feel when they look in their rooms and see it. The jewels/beads! OMG, I get excited just typing about it.!!!!

Right now I am feeling like Momma of the year!!!!!! :)
