The girls are super duper excited a/b Christmas.  They have digested the true meaning of Christmas and know we are celebrating the birth of Jesus!!!!!!!!!

Today was a first for me as well!!!!!!!  I am sure Helina saw this on a show and told me that not only did we have to leave cookies for Santa we had to leave carrots for Santa's reindeers!!!!!!!!! She said Santa does a whole lot of work, and so does the reindeers!!!  I thought it was cute and funny!!!!!!!! She also told me we needed to leave 35 carrots out!!!!!! hmmmm, the kids really keep you going, b/c u never know what big ideas they will have next!!! lol  lol 

This has got to be the best holiday EVER!!!!!!!! We are all together under one roof.............sharing a holiday that is near and dear to my heart!!!  This is AWESOME

Helina and El Shaday were so excited to finally have the chance to wrap  gifts for their daddy and  gifts for their teachers.  Once they caught on a/b the gift thing they wanted to buy EVERY Kid in their class a gift!!!!!!  I am thinking maybe they can make a few cookies bag them and give them out to the kids in their class, w/a tag that says made especially by me for you and attach a candy cane to the bag......maybe that will work, b/c momma and poppa are broke!!!!!!

When the girls came down stairs I got a preview of how they are going to react on December 25th, 2010........

My goodness!!!!!!!! Helina got it, but El Shaday.....hmmmmmm, lets just say maybe if they were not wrapped in paper it would have been more appealing to her..... LOL   LOL  

Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  They thought Santa had come, and they could open their gifts.....I told them Santa comes when you are sleeping on the 24th, and then he leaves things for you under the tree, but the gifts that are under there now are from mommy and daddy..................they(Helina) just could not believe it!!!!!!  She kept saying OMG! OMG!!!

Yes, u read right, we do the Santa thing in this family!!!  yes we do!!

I loved  every bit of my fairy tale moments about Santa and turned out ok(did not need counseling to undo all the Santa lies)!!!!!!!!! So why not!!!  Its all apart of the magic of Christmas..... and as long as they get the bigger picture and know that its all for Jesus' Birthday, I am happy!!!!!!!

Yesterday they purged and went through their toy chest/bags to donate some of their toys, they were really really happy to divide what they wanted to keep and what they wanted to give away. I left them in the room and allowed them decide what they wanted to give away...... came back and I have to say it was a even split...............they got it and were excited about "gift of giving"......

Helina has just fallen in love w/the camera.  I mean I can be sitting one minute looking at the TV and she will actually hand me the camera allow me to snap candid pics.  I take her up on her offer each time, b/c not so long ago she had this love hate relationship w/the camera.

My goodness, I am so in love w/her!!!!  Her beauty is beyond words!!! Sorry I know it sounds crazy to be really gawking over MY children like this.....but...........if I don't who will (well not u guys who are in my adoption circle).

SHE LOVES THE MIRROR ALTHOUGH SHE IS NOT VAIN, SHE TELLS ME ALL THE TIME, SHE NEVER SAW HER FACE LIKE THIS BEFORE IN ET, SO I ALLOW HER TO JUST BE HER.....STAND ON THE STOOL IN THE BATHROOM AND SPEND AS MUCH TIME IN THE MIRROR AS SHE WANTS...........

SHE LOVES TO GET HER HAIR DONE, AND IF I DON'T DO A GOOD JOB, AFTER SHE LOOKS AT IT IN THE MIRROR SHE WILL SAY MOM, ITS OK, YOU CAN TRY TO DO IT BETTER NEXT TIME...LOL  LOL.................
