Helina has a tooth that is a/b to come out!!!

So excited! we read a book last night a/b a kid whose tooth was coming out, and the tin that was given to him by his big brother, so he cld put his tooth in and under his pillow for the tooth fairy.

Helina says mom, I have one too!

so she opened her mouth wiggled the little tooth, and baby girl was right! 

I am so excited I get to do the tooth fairy thing.

after reading our story she just assumed that the tooth fairy wld show up last night and she wanted to make sure she caught him putting the money under her pillow! lol

After explaining the tooth fairy only comes when your tooth comes out, and when u are sleep, she said but how does he know when I am really sleep I can be like this....... and she closed her eyes, w/them half cracked open, and said I can still see!  lol

I tell ya that Helina of mine is just so clever!!

Also cleaning my car yesterday, there was over 3 bucks in change under the seats, Helina who happened to be johnny on the spot was the recipient of all that change.

So I told her to put it in her piggy bank and she said no mom I want to keep it in my pocket.  So she took all the brown pennies and put em in her bank but kept all the silver change in her pocket I said ok, maybe u can buy you and ur sister ice cream, she said nooooooo, me have no money, 

I said sure u do lets count it, so we counted the money out, and she still said no, shaking her head and wagging that finger.

Helina how will u get ice cream, 

Mom I don't know

You like ice cream right?

Yes mom

ok, then u can buy you ice cream for u and ur sister, you have a whole lot of money

No mom, you buy it

Mom can't buy it she has no money, Helina has all the money

No mom me no like ice cream!!!!!!!!!!

And the story ends on the note she no longer liked ice cream when it came to her using her own money!! funny!

It was so funny I grabbed the camera but she kinda changed the tune of her not licking ice cream when she saw I was taping her butt.

It Is Absolutely A Myth

We as African Americans (AA) DO get lice!

How do I know! I got a whole head full of them! yuck!!!! yuck!!!

I know I treated the girls when we first came home, never saw any evidence that there were lice! did it any way to be cautious!

For almost 4 months, outside of the girls scratching in their heads like crazy making soars I had no reason to think they had LICE!!!

Even after taking them to the Dr. who examined their scalps, stated its just dry skin, put oil on it!!!

Well here is how I found the little creature!

Three weeks ago, I used my hair brush on the girls head b/c they cld not find their own brush!

Noticed the nap of my scalp was itching like crazy! Summed it up to dry scalp, that needed a good greasing........

Yesterday morning while getting ready for work, there was a black dots on my temple, I pull it from my head in the temple section and see these little funky lets moving while on the tip of my index finger ( I know GROSS)!!!!!!!!!!!!! It freaked me out

Freaked me out, I ran to my computer so I cld get a visual of what this creature looked like for comparison purposes and immediately started itching all over!!!!!!

Woke Juan up to show him the creature and he said it was the same bug he removed a week

ago from Helina's shirt but had no idea it was lice!!!

I put two and two together and started to itch even more!!!

Yuck!!! Yuck!!! Yuck!!!!!

so if folks are using this blog for information purposes, even when u bring ur baby home w/a bald or head full of hair take it from me do lice treatments a few times until u know for sure there are none hiding out waiting for the most perfect time to itch and scare the sh*t out of you!!!!!

Just know I can't stop itching!!!!!!!

Great is his mercy! The difference that 5mins can make

Not sure I can sum up my day on paper!

but I will say, in life we get revelations, we get moments when you either make it happen or leave it alone, we get moments, when GOD whispers in the softest of the softest voice, we get moments when the difference in 5 mins can change the color scheme for that day and ur life forever!

Today was one of those days for my family!

I am so blessed that in the end my girls who I work so hard to keep it simple, and consistent for was able to kiss their daddy today, fix him dinner, and tell him how much they loved him!

Thank you Jesus for sparing my family another day and allowing us to rejoice this evening.

I thank you for all those you stopped everything and prayed for us from all corners in the USA

the girls were exhausted, however, they were to excited to sleep late into Sunday morning! We still had out of town guest on Sunday and Monday, and as you can see in some of the shots it was very very hot out as we stood in the beaming sun to say goodbye to Kidist!
